President of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences Announced the
Board of the Governors decision to award Spectra Cine President, Nasir Zaidi,
James Branch and Remy Smith the "Technical Academy Award" for Best Design
and Development of the Spectra Professional IV-A Digital Exposure Meter. The
award was presented at The 71st Annual Scientific and Technical Academy
Award ceremony hosted by actress Ann Heche held on February 27th, 1999 at
the Regent Beverly Wilshire Hotel in Beverly Hills, California.
The Spectra Professional IV-A is an Advanced and True Digital
Exposure Meter, Compact and easy to use, it is the most comprehensive,
technologically advanced and reliable meter for Cinematographers and
